The “Tribhuvan” Sahkari University has been established through an Act of Parliament at the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA).

Named after the doyen of the cooperative movement in India, Shri Tribhuvandas K. Patel, the transformation of IRMA into the “Tribhuvan” Sahkari University marks a significant milestone in India's cooperative education landscape. This evolution aims to strengthen the cooperative movement by providing specialized education, training, and research opportunities.

The “Tribhuvan” Sahkari University is dedicated to:
  • Provide education and training in the cooperative and allied sectors.
  • Undertake specialized research and development activities.
  • Offer various degree, diploma, and certificate programmes in areas related to cooperatives and rural management.
